I was somewhat skeptical when I first looked at this because a lot of people said that when they put their nav unit in it would switch it on. I have the Garmin 765T which has an on/off switch on top. I quickly realized that actually if you're smart enough to slide this in a certain way then there is no way the garmin will turn on. Anyways, it is somewhat cheaply made but then again I'm not showing it off to anyone so I don't know why that matters. Still waiting to see how expensive it is to keep it supplied with ink. Past printers, Brother, HP, Lexmark and Cannons seemed to be quite "thirsty" and consumed ink even when not in use.
